Colt’s reliability performance and accuracy provide our Armed Forces the confidence required to accomplish any mission. Colt’s CR6920 series carbines share many features with their combat-proven brother, the Colt M4A1.

The Colt CR6920 is the latest design, released in 2020, and identical in all ways to the LE6920, but now engraved as a Carbine, and features a chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7″ twist an adjustable-post front sight a rear Magpul Gen2 Back-Up Sight (MBUS) and a 30-round Magpul PMAG. This model has no carry handle. Lower is marked “Carbine” 

In 2021, the majority of CR6920 rifles are using Cerro forged upper receiver (with the keyhole forge mark), but, unlike the 2020 models, which were Brass Aluminum (square forge mark), the uppers are not marked “M4” above the gas tube entry also lack the military CAGE Code engraving, although the barrels are the same military grade and CAGE code roll marked.  This is due to Colt’s expansion and re-entry into the commercial market and using different forging companies to produce more rifles for the commercial market, after taking a year or so hiatus from September 2019 to September 2020 away from the commercial market.  The Bolt is marked MPC, and the carrier is marked with a “C”, although we have seen carriers that were unmarked. 

Solid Colt, a little different name, different forged uppers, but in all regards, this is the same weapon as the LE6920.
