Some might consider this an average 16″ patrol rifle. For those who think that way, they do not know LMT. There are two types of shooters: Those who know LMT, and those who want to know LMT. LMT dates back to the Eugene Stoner days. Two rifle companies boast that heritage. One brags about it and has all the marketing to surround it. The other is LMT. Karl Lewis and Eugene Stoner developed these weapons decades ago. Lewis and his company broke free of the bondage of socialism in Illinois and moved across the river to Iowa and become fully operational in 2020 in their new home. To get LMT rifles is hard, as the demand is so very strong. But, Charlie’s is a solid LMT dealer, and we work hard to bring you the best.
This weapon features 5.56×45 (.223) Chrome-Moly Vanadium 1:7″ RH twist cryogenically treated barrel and Defender semi-auto lower receiver. This model differs from the standard SPM in that it includes the US SOCOM preferred SOPMOD buttstock. This buttstock provides not only a more comfortable option for the shooter but includes QD swivel attachment points and watertight storage compartments.
This is your standard issue service rifle; however, it’s outfitted with LMT® quality parts and built with attention to detail to ensure it functions when you need it most.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.
1) Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.
2) Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!!!)
3) Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.
