Maxim started their PDW line as part of the US Military’s SOCOM PDW solicitation.  No moving to 300 BLK makes this a great self defense / covert weapon for short-range stopping power.  And, if design matters, this is a great design, functionally, ergonometrically and aesthetically.  

The NEW Maxim Defense PDX™ is designed to handle the fierce demands of the Tier 1 community. The PDX™ dominates close quarter encounters and achieves maximum energy on target. At just 18.75” in overall length, the PDX™ delivers groundbreaking power and performance in a subcompact platform.

At the heart of the PDX™ is our newly developed Maxim SCW™ stock system. This patent-pending system cuts down the length of the stock to 4”. The integrated BCG with interchangeable buffer weights gives you maximum performance and versatility without sacrificing form and functionality. The PDX uses a Direct Impingement system.

The PDX™ is also equipped with newly invented Maxim HATEBRAKE™ muzzle booster. This patent-pending device significantly reduces recoil, decreases the flash signature, pushes gasses and concussion wave downrange away from the operator and improves overall performance in short barrel pistols and rifles.

This model is designed as a tactical pistol with brace.  It is also offered as an SBR, or choose a Form 1 stamp and some engraving, and get the stock kit later to convert yourself to an SBR.

The weapon is equiped with blast / concusion muzzle device that focuses the blast and the concussion forward.  Maxim calls this the Hate Brake.  The Hate Break can easlily be removed to attach a suppressor, if that is your preference.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.

       1)  Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.

       2)  Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!!!)
